Alan Hutchinson is a financial adviser at Astier, with close to two decades of industry experience. Alan has a background in investment research, providing a solid foundation and basis for his clients to invest their assets. With a deep knowledge of economics, markets and key thematics impacting investors, Alan assists his clients who include private individuals, families, SMSF’s and not-for-profits & charities around Australia, in making informed and qualified decisions that are tailored to their specific needs.

Alan currently assists Astier’s Investment Committee, was the former Senior Economist & a financial adviser at Prescott Securities and head of unlisted investment selection at Crowe Horwath, overseeing over $8b in assets at the time.

His ability to listen to his client’s needs and understand their financial objectives, coupled with his experience and knowledge, enables the creation of tailored and effective long-term strategies for his clients.

Alan’s qualifications include Honours degrees in Business and Economics with Flinders University, FINSIA Certification and a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning
